FRP vessels are empty fibre-wrapped polyethylene cylinders which can be filled with a variety of media such as carbon granules, KDF, silica sand, gravel, ion-exchange resins and more.
These vessels need a valve on top (called a “head”) this head is either manual or automatic (digital) and controls functions such as back-washing and/or regenerating.
Media lifespan is greatly increased due to back-washing and regenerating functions of the FRP Vessel System. Average media lifespan is 3 – 5 years.
Typical maximums are 10bar pressure & 40°C.
